Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Brazilian Wax: How long does it last before hair starts to grow? How often to get a Brazilian wax?
It takes between 4-6 weeks to grow back but it grows back much softer and not as thick. It is different for everyone though so this can vary. I recommend 4 weeks for the first 3 waxes. As you continue to go you will see more even growth pattern. OH!! and the pain gets less painful too!
2. What exactly gets covered in a Brazilian wax?
Brazilian waxing refers to a removal of almost everything, front to back except for a thin strip of hair on the pubis. An extreme form of bikini waxing, it involves a complete removal of hair from the buttocks and adjacent to the anus. Waxes that completely remove the pubic hair are known as a full Brazilian wax, full Bikini wax, Hollywood wax, the Sphinx or the full monty.
3. How long after shaving do I need to wait for Brazilian wax?
Wait until you can grip the hair with your fingers and pull. The appropriate length is at LEAST a half an inch, otherwise the wax won't be able to grip the hair, and you have to go through painful plucking! The longer the better. Good luck!
